Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

I have installed Dolphin 6.1 and everything set up fine as I followed the install.txt file. I then remove the install folder and i keep receiving the following error message:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

I don't know what to do as I am getting a connection to my server (installed on home pc) as indicated by the activity light. I have the following installed and configured correctly:

Dolphin 6.1
Abyss Web Server 2.5 X1 on standard HTTP Port 80
MySQL 5.0
PHP 5.2.5 (Preconfigured Package from Abyss)
PERL 5.10.0

I have setup web forwarding to my IP Address for the Domain Name ... Could anyone please help me and possibly tell me if there is anything that I must do to get it working correctly

php_flag register_globals Off
must come out of .htaccess

I have already removed php_flag register_globals Off from .htaccess and I get the same problem

Try removing the .htaccess file. But don't delete it off your server. Just rename it to something else. If it doesn't work, then rename it back to the original name. mrpowless's method works for me, but I've tried to remove the file before and that worked too!
