Music upload works fine with other browser than Internet Explorer. Just tested it and got it on my profile.
But, considering Internet Explorer is the worlds' best-known browser, it should work in IE as well.
I can't advise every member to install another browser, just to be able to upload music or video.
Bug is reported many times, hope this will be fixed soon.

I am having this issue as well for IE. Other browsers appear to work without issue but IE hangs after the upload ..Pending. This is using a dedicated server that I own.

Just a note to this. Using Dolphin 6.0.05. I can upload .wav files without issue using IE 7. It appears only the files with the mp3 extension are stuck pending regardless of the file size.

ok with IE you need to run it in compatability more or alot of stuff dosn't work. also not this could change how the site looks to the user.
