DOLPHIN: My Friends

405ideas posted 8th of October 2008 in Community Voice. 12 comments.

Recently I have noticed that although users can see everyone else's friends right from the profile page, user's own friends were not showing up on "My Profile" page.

To fix this:

  1. Open File /inc/profiles.inc.php
  2. Around line 102 find:
    if (!array_key_exists($friend_list_arr['ID'], $aMutualFriends)){
  3. Replace with
    // 405MOD - My Friends: if (!array_key_exists($friend_list_arr['ID'], $aMutualFriends)){
  4. Around line 113 find:
    }
  5. Replace with
    // 405MOD - My Friends: }
  6. You are DONE!

Is that your ego on show there 405??
Stuart038
This is a bit confusing:
// 405MOD - My Friends: if (!array_key_exists($friend_list_arr['ID'], $aMutualFriends)){
Around line 113 find:
}
Replace with
// 405MOD - My Friends: }
Surely it would be easier to understand if the 405mod info was placed seperately?
melia
lol!

Stuart038,

What 405ideas is doing is tagging his mod as per the rules. That's what BoonEx wants modders to do! That tells people who use the mod that he is the modder.

Not about ego, it's about being smart and responsible.
Stuart038
Melia, you are quite right. It is important to tag your mods so, should you have any problems you can contact the author, you can also contact them for any updates. I got that. What bit about 'confusing' didn't you understand?

Stuart038,

What exactly did you mean when you said "Is that your ego on show there 405??" You then gave him a negative.

It looks to me and to everyone else I know that you were taking a dig at 405ideas.

405ideas then replied with a "...huh?"

Dude you are now trying to back peddle but you got put in your place. It was obvious you took a dig at 405ideas and got you ass handed to you.

Get over yourself, you were taking a dig at 405ideas.
Stuart038
melia your quite right, there is absolutely nothing confusing about the following:
# Replace with
// 405MOD - My Friends: if (!array_key_exists($friend_list_arr['ID'], $aMutualFriends)){
# Around line 113 find:
}
# Replace with
// 405MOD - My Friends: }

My point was, please code it so non-programmers can understand what to do. You must admit the above could have been presented in a less confusing manner.
