I am getting error messages from Orca.. it doesn't work what so ever...

I'm thinkin i aught to get the VBulleten mod from expertzzz... perhaps that's a bit better...  but its $200 >.<.. ouch

Checkout my orca page... http://universalconfession.com/D2/orca/

Should I reupload/install orca to fix the issues? or does someone have other suggestions...?

I cannot get orca to work either!!! It says the same as yours - site not available, but without the sql errors at the top of the page. I am thinking of using phpbb instead.

Using PHPbb would constitute users needing to sign up a second time to use the forum.. correct???

Checkout his MOD for dolphin... if you got the cash... >.<

Its $145 .. not $200...

I tested it out and it works... only need to sign up to the dolphin page and u get access to the vbulletin forum..

No, I can install phpBB2 and make it so users only have to register once (dolphin) and sign in once (dolphin)... they will be registered/signed into the phpbb2 automaticall.

Is there any way to get rid of the forum and board links at the top of the home page so people dont see the links? At the moment all they see when they click them is row after row of code and nothing else. It spoils the site.

In the admin section Click on Builders then on Navigation Menu Builder. You can drag the ones you don't want to be seen from Active Items down to All Items

The forum and board links are shown in there. How can I get rid of the forum and board links? They just dont work in Firefox and most of my community use Firefox. I can't ask people to use IE just to visit the Dolphin site.

Main error is: "URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration"

So you need to allow file access by url in php configuration.

Ask your server hosting support on how to do this.

Also when Orca 2.0 will be integrated into Dolphin, this problem should be eliminated.

Best regards, Alex.

I have tried installing Orca 2.0, 1.2, 1.1 but cannot get any of them to work.

Have paid for a licence so I'm not particularaly happy!!

I can't find any docs or anyway of searching for help here.

Where to go?
