Purchased product but cannot get and shopping cart issues.

I purchased a product from Interex through this sites system but was unable to download it because Interex had to accept the payment first. Which he did within 3 hours of the purchase. However I still cannot download the product at all.

 

I contacted Interex several times by the contact system here and through email. He has not even bothered to respond at all. I also contacted boonex about the system issues, they wrote back saying "sorry those bugs happen contact the seller and then he can verify it and send you your product. Of course I did contact Interex more than once and I did send him all the information so he would know I had paid. But he refuses to even answer me and Boonex is siiting back allowing this to happen. 

 

I just put a new dolphin script online this week, our compay was planning on migrating our community to dolphin. But after seeing how boonex responds so late and in such aan uncaring and cavalier manner to abuses of thier system by their members how could anyone feel they could be trusted to be professional or even provide what they offer.

 

I had even gone in this morning to purchase the unlimited license for the software but again their shopping cart system has serious issues.  

 

So lets see where we stand with boonex. They have a member using their system who is taking money but not providing the product they are selling to the buyer. Boonex is notified of this and basically goes oh well. Yet since it is boonex system and they allow this member to continue doing this then boonex is as responsible for this as much as Interex. Next we have the shopping cart system, with serious issues and this from a company that claims to put out such excellently coded products yet cannot get a shopping cart system to work? 

 

I contacted them this morning about my attempt to purchase the license. Of course if it takes them 3 or 4 days to answer this time like last then there will be no need to answer at all. I will go and purchase another script elsewhere before that happens.

 

A wekk ago I though dolphin, ray orca etc and boonex would be great for us and a great program to work with. My how things seem to change in one short week.

Hi I have to amend my post since Interex has just emailed and says this is the first he has heard about a problem. I am glad that it is not anything more than the issues with the bad commands being sent by boonex to paypal which I just verified that is the issue with paypal themselves. So hopefully I will be able to continue to work with people here on this site and I will take steps to avoid these issues in the future by contacting sellers before I purchase so that we will not be at odds because see more boonex will not fix thier code in their payment system.

sorry to tell you thin, but you buy something from a seller, they are not a store owner just around the corner from you, but they could be on the other side of the planet, 12 hours time difference from you.
while you are working other are sleeping.
because this is a global community its so easy to forget that 1/2 the planet is sleeping while the other half is see more awake.

A few more issues people forget,
#1 religion,
some do not allow its members to work on some days of the week.
others force times of praying to their god,
so not everyone can jump when you say jump.

#2 national holidays,
not everyone follows the USA in its holidays, some nations have holidays that others do not.

#3 Family
the seller is a human, the script aint, the seller might have family issues, a sick child, dying partner, or other crisis that takes them away for more than just a day or two.

#4 paypal addresses
people are wise to use an email address that they do not use for regular email for their paypal payments. so most smart people don't read any mail sent to that address because they do not normally use it for mail. so you are not being ignored, its just that someone is not reading the mail because they do not use that address for anything but paypal.

Boonex:
the staff here work hard, but the seller is the one that sets up their store and payment setting. not boonex, so if some set it up wrong, you get some sales going wrong.

boonex has some issues and they are being addressed, they have almost dropped everything to work on the issues that have been brought to their attention by members and myself, and thats putting things behind a little.

Dolphin is a huge project and it is not that easy to learn by someone new to it. but over time you do learn,

my best advice to you is this.
Dolphin will work great if you have all the server control you need. A dedicated server is best, a VPS will do but i wonder about the disk space on some of them.

shared hosting? use the one boonex recomends, dont use godaddy and a lot of others.

the most important thing to remember, do not buy or use free mods if they are not for the version and build of your dolphin script, unless you know the person you got it from, will help install/fix it as you upgrade your dolphin install in the future.

because they are what goes wrong with the upgrades more than anything.

Ok i just came across the forum and i figure i would add something. This has nothing to do with previous comments, but i tested a purchase procedure on my site and once i purchased the file i was not directed back to the product or even when i went back to download my purchased product the download button was not there. Does any body have an idea of what the issue is?
