Ray RMS video recorder problem

Hi,

I am having a very frustrating problem with Ray-RMS.
Our customer purcased the full SmartPro.
I installed and configured RMS, and the video chat works properly.

However, I can't record videos. I can connect, I do the actual recording, but when I hit "Stop", an exception is raised in RMS (I can see in the server console), and if the user tries to save, that particular user can't record video anymore.
It's not a problem of communicating with the server, since I can see the file temp1.flv created in the streams directory.

Here is the exception:

[ERROR] 2008-05-09 03:26:08,527 pool-3-thread-17:( org.red5.server.messaging.InMemoryPushPushPipe.pushMessage ) exception when pushing message to consumer

I am using RMS 3.5 and Dolphin 6.1, so they are the latest versions.
JRE is 1.6.0_05, and OS is CentOS.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks.

Best regards,
Andrei

Hello

I have the same problem in my RMS.

You can tell me if you solve the problem?

Thank you very much

You can add me to the list.

My environment: CentOS 4.7 x86_64, jdk-1.6.0_07, php-5.2.6, httpd-2.0.52-41, mysql-5.0.67-1, Dolphin 6.1.4, and RMS 3.5.1. I even tried compiling my own version ffmpeg and also the latest SVN version of the red5 server. I get the same thrown java exception:

[ERROR] 2008-09-23 10:28:20,919 pool-3-thread-7:( org.red5.server.messaging.InMemoryPushPushPipe.pushMessage ) exception when pushing message to consumer

Sorry I don't have a solution, but at least you know see more you are not alone. Either something is broken, or we are all doing something wrong.

This is bullshit. I have what sounds like the same problem. Does anybody at boonex ever attempt to resolve these issues?

see moreI installed dolphin and ray and got the same issues. I solved all the dolphin errors then paid for a fresh install and the recorder licence and after install was sent to trouble shooters and documents by boonex. 2 months after my paid install and the darn thing is still the same as when i installed everything myself. In my view this is a set in place error to cause the need of boonex to remove competition. Its too simple an error when viewed from the whole script point of view for it to be an oversight.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
