Starting the Installation

For some reason I cannot launch the index.php file. My web hosting has an updated version of PHP (5.2xxx). I have shell access but cannot launch the file. I went directly to the PHP folder instead of modifying the path. The only thing I get is a listing of the contents of the file like I launched it in Notepad.

There is a utility in my control panel that allows me to launch files from my windows browser using ssl, but I dont have PHP installed on my computer. Therefore, it will not launch. I have dream weaver installed and php is associated with that locally. I tried a couple of php install tools, but could not change the file association. The PHP tolls will not launch.

So What is next?

Just recheck your
public_html/Dolphin/install/index.php: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory

look at first line
