What I accomplished and realized today.........?

I'm not sure what it is I learned today. I worked on my Site off and on for almost 12 hours. I was pretty much sweeping through my site to get rid of the extra doobies that I didn't need. I realized that alot of the menu tabs were duplicated. So I had alot of cleaning up to do. I'm still trying to figure out how to rename some of my page blocks. I'm sure I will figure this out sooner or later. I'm really anxious to start setting up profiles but I need to get my profile fields together and customize them to my site's needs.

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster when it comes to this site. One minute I'm having a ball putting it together and next I'm depressed over something that I can't seem to over come, talk about emotional abuse. This project has become my baby and all it wants to do is hurt my feelings more often than not. Humph.........

And so here I stand, hands on my hips wondering what to do next. The only thing I Can do is take a step forward. I know one thing, I need to figure out how to back up my site correctly before I make another move. If anything happens to my site without a backup, I would be devestated to the point of defeat.

I had alot more fun today modifying my site than I did yesterday so I consider this a great day of work and an excellent Easter.I know one thing as soon as my site begins to roll, I'm hiring someone to take care of the maintenance for me. Money can definitely make life much more comfortable. I have a handful of developers I'm keeping a personal eye on for this position. The ones who have gave me personal advice and tips just because they genuinly like to help people without any stipulations will definitely have a space in my place.

On with my research, it looks as if  it's going to be a long night! Wheres my music because I'm going to need it.

ahhhh...the passion of the young :P
+1 point for the backup mentioning, it really helps alot.
+1 for hiring someone, it is the best way of starting something serious but also keep in mind you'll have to put extra personal effort anyway

Thanks for the points, that just ups my self esteem!!! yea the back up looks as if it might just save my butt whenever I get in trouble. You have no idea how many times I have messed up and re installed my site!!!

I realized that hiring someone is a MUST but at the same time I don't allow anyone to just do the work and move on. I pay for step by step instructions on what they do.Have to be smart while be "dumb" at the same time!
