'my profile' returns 'page not found'

HiReally not sure I'm posting in the right place, but hey ho!
Almost everything is now working except: When a user clicks on their profile or anyone elses, they get the 'page not found error.
eg. url shows as http://localearth.co.uk/mickbull but page not found. Nightmare.
Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.

you need to check this file :
.htaccess
maybe not upload or empty .. you must upload it again
it's in dolphin folder

If I leave them as they were NOTHING works.
Fixed it.
.htaccess was the problem.
