www.mysite.com/membername showing error 404 (the page does not exist)

Hi,
When i click on any member name on my site, it shows error 404. i.e the page does not exist.
How to overcome it?
Any help?

Try going into Admin/settings/advanced settings and unclick "Enable friendly profile permalinks".

what if you want to use permalinks?

I am having this problem except I don't have "Enable friendly profile permalinks" PLEAS HELP!
