all what I know is:
1. ffmpeg (not our product) can be compiled for windows, unix and FreeBSD platform. All its we provide in downloads. So you should have correct version. this is first
In default package ffmpeg for unix system of course
2. you should have correct permissions (777 at `files` folders and 777 to ffmpeg)
3. RMS don`t used for upload process LOL
4. file sizes, try small files, possible you just not able to download big files, so will need change upload file sizes settings see more
