One more thing I failed to mention. Normaly any plan with a VPS, Dedicated or Cluster configuration should be assumed you are getting a dedicated IP address.

One of the ways to think about the difference between dedicated IP address and a shared one is like this. If you live in a house you have a unique address for the mail man to deliver mail to your home. Nobody else has that exact address any place. If you however live in an apartment building then normally there is a single address for the see more apartment building that is being shared by all the other people. The only thing that tells the mail man how to tell the difference between you and your neighbors mail is then your apartment number.
