Looks great so far. I do have a couple of quick questions though.

1. I noticed that the admin is not ready yet, but have the admin accounts been reworked to allow site email to be sent to them? This would be a very useful feature that is impossible in 6.x since Admins are separate accounts.

2. Would it be possible to get a preview of the SQL Schema if the tables have changed drastically, so us integrators/developers can get an idea of what might need to be changed at the database level?

Overall see more Great Work, and thanks. We're looking forward to the code being released so that we can see how everything can be implemented.
