just wanted to respost the following imperative suggestions to keep them fresh:

- Vbulletin integration is an ABSOLUTE MUST especially for those of us who bought vbulletin based on ver 6 incorrectly listing it as an integration feature.

- More granular subcategories in "ads" for sites that rely heavily on classifieds so you can drill down deeper than 2 levels (ie: Chevrolet :: Parts :: Interior).

- Allow more fields in ads and make them all searchable as well as allowing a see more city/state to be tied to the item in classifieds (very important)

- Ability to add images and html in areas like "articles"

- Ability to easily strip out the "dating" portion as Dolphin is a "Community Software", not specifically a dating site software anymore.

Other than these very necessary additions...the progress is looking great so far!

You'll probably have better luck getting a vBulletin integration done by someone on vbulletin.org

I'll probably use IPB with D7, but I have about 700 threads on my vBulletin site that I'd like to import into IPB. As much as I'd like to see both a vBulletin and IPB integration done by Boonex, they are going to have their hands full for quite some time with other, standard, aspects of the script. IPB and vBulletin integration will simply have to be a third party integration... at least for now. see more I started a thread about IPB integration in the forums... maybe you can start a similar one fo vBulletin.

On all your other points, I am in complete agreement.

Although I plan on using the software for a dating site (somewhat)....the ability to strip it out through the admin panel is a good idea. I will take it a step further though.....I would like to see the ability to strip out (or use) as much of the features as possible....(Complete Customization). Im hoping as much hard work and inginuity is going into the admin panel as the member side of things.

I love the fact that we the admins are getting an opportunity to help create this. I just wish there see more was a way to help out with the admin panel as well.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
