thank you for update .. I think this is great features added to Hookie .. but i have some notes and suggestions
1- Avatars: it's great idea but I like make it as like this site please check it :

you can create your face as like cartoon if you add this option to avatars section I think it will be more than perfect .. I wish think in this
2- Floating member menu: now it's great design but I think it need to remove the black see more line around it (it will be best and soft ) and it need to add small explanation when move the mouse above the icons but I didn't allow for remove this feature it's great and perfect
3- Video Player: I like new design but I wish add watermark as like youtube for add site logo
4- Groups and Couples: it's great idea for teams and Businesses
5- I wish add helper system or FAQ System so the admin can add important about the site features and how do you can use it ?
this is my ideas right now if I have other I will post it :)
had a look atfaceyourmanga.it, think one of the developers could intergate this into hookie if they know a some php and actionscript....
What dolphin needs is features that set it apart and not always emaluates other community/social network sites...
