The floating menu looks a whole lot nicer, smaller and clean, great job on the update.
The video player i would have to give a 10/10 because the control section isn't as bulky and looks more suitable.
Thinking of different templates...the video player will look great no matter the template.
I also like the suggestions on the groups you had mentioned.
Will we be able to broadcast messages to all group members and also if a group member makes a new post or a upload, will it be displayed on the see more activity feed?

In the blogs section...depending on the type of site bloggers might want to promote other users profile for contests or for whatever reason, i think it would be kind of cool if we could put in a code block while writing our blog that would display the user's pic in which would link to their page....(eg. Say you're a registered member on my site and i want to promote your profile in a blog entry, i could type [UserName]UnoBoonex[/UserName] and that would display your thumbnail that gets linked to your profile)
