Just using dolphin 7 for the first time now and i have to say, it looks impressive - you've done a great job guys - this is definitely going to cement dolphin as the worlds leading open source social network!

Also, many of the comments here i'd agree with - one the big problems is speed and cleanliness of the structure and code - wordpress is so successful because it's so simple - a non developer can find their way around code and edit it from within a web interface.

The transparanet menu on see more the profile pictures isn't necessary - nobody is going to friend or fave someone based on their picture (or shouldn't otherwise they're spamming). It frustrates me as it's slow and i don't like having to click on it (i keep thinking i'm going to go to the profile page) and get frustrated when i don't.

Why not keep it simple and ditch the menu? It's pretty slow anyway so it would be no loss imo.

Search is very important - i think it needs to stand out more as a standalone search textbox.

To add/edit a status update it should be single click, not double click - remember users are not used to double clicking to select things on web interfaces....

I also think it's ESSENTIAL that users can integrate flickr, twitter, facebook, bebo updates etc... in to their profiles - that is what is gonna make or break any new social network - social integration. It is crucial in order to survive long term...

But as i said, seeing dolphin 7 for the first time, i was impressed. It looked attractive, clean and i could see it becoming a hit. Keep up the good work guys and if you keep taking feedback on board, dolphin 7 is gonna launch with a bang...
