Blogs should only be for boonex team members, everyone else could post in moderated forums...with jtadeo doing the moderating.

No offense, but that makes absolutely no sense.
I can't see any valid reason for community members to post blogs, every blog post seems either better suited for the forums or not posted at all.
Also it would be one less place to moderate and provide a more welcoming "front of house"

Forum discussions should focus on support issues... period.

Blogs should be an area where members can present new ideas and innovations, and participate in in-depth discussions of current issues. It's difficult to do that in busy forums that are occupied by a large number of inexperienced dolphin users. On the other side of the same coin, the blogging section should not be overrun with support issues and a plethora of frivolous posts. Those are valid reasons for a great many people here.
