if your spending time rebooting Linux then your doing it wrong. For the most part you only have to restart the applicable daemon not the whole machine meaning other services can continue to run.
Just because your intelligence doesnt stretch as far as being able to operate it doesnt make it any less user friendly. Just means you dont know how to use it. For the hundreds of thousands that do however, this article would seem more like just another uninformed windows fanboy rant.
