I didn't have any problems. If you have made any changes to the source files, you might want to make the changes to the files in the upgrade patch before uploading them. Fortunately for me, there were only a few source files that I had changed, and it was easy to update the new ones. It's easy to lose track of these kinds of changes if you don't keep good records. What I did, was create an empty directory structure of my site on my computer, and every time I make a change to a source file, see more I download it to the right place in the directory structure on my ;local machine. It takes a little extra work, but over time, I have a directory structure of all my changed files that I can compare to the new versions.

The new upgrade patch makes things a lot easier. I've been griping for that for a while, and I used to create a 'patch' myself with only the changed files. I've been doing that since RC3, without any problems. I never saw the sense in needlessly overwriting 4,800 files.

You'll always be told to make a backup of your entire site.... probably good advice. I've never done that before an upgrade, but I really haven't officially launched my site and don't have much at risk as far as members.

Be brave...just do the upgrade. Have a few beers, and maybe a tequila shot or two..... that's what I do when I'm nervous about something :)
