I can tell you that a hosting account for Dolphin is not all that difficult to set up. I've got a Dell Poweredge 1800 dual-core Xeon 2.8 Ghz with 2 gigs ram and 1 terrabyte actual storage space for my /home accounts running Debian Lenny and a standard XAMP setup with echp virtual hosting control panel. This setup handles a Dolphin install perfectly right after the initial install package of the above. I've actually got several dolphin 6.16 and 7 setups on there for testing and am getting ready see more to move my live site over to it. I'll bump up the memory to 12 gigs first and add a second CPU as I'll also be installing Flash Server 4 on it, but in testing, it handles a load quite well. There is no reason ANY host shouldn't be able to provide a good basic foundation to run Dolphin outside of specific php or security settings. I've also tested Dolphin 6/7 on Red Hat enterprise, Ubuntu Server and a few other linux variations before deciding upon the Debian. BTW, I've been in conversation with the developer of the ehcp hosting control panel to see about having Dolphin as one of the pre-installed packages for their easy install scripts. So far, he's interested in doing it. (He has about 33 pre-installed easy-install scripts incorporated into it already).
