@csampson1 - That is exactly why I said the rules need to be extremely clear. There is a difference when someone is posting a link to their site while asking for help because their site is not functioning. You see the boonex team even say "Please prove the URL to your site". But THAT is where the key is.. As Andrew stated " References to your site in signatures will be allowed, but not in the content of your posts, unless requested". So I wouldnt make your first post that includes see more a link to your site. If someone is truely trying to help and requests it, then is would be allowed.

Now if you posted a link to your site with "Hey everyone, I just built my site and Im looking for new members to test"... or whatever, then that would be considered advertising/promotion.

I agree with signatures but do not agree with signature links... just saying
