Well I think what we would really like is for Boonex staff to help with technical issues that come up on the forums. They do sometimes, and that is great, but then they disappear for weeks at a time. These forums could be very valuable with more staff involvement on a consistent basis- many of us have been asking for this for a long time and I hope this really happens..

Now, In trying to understand this statement:

"We reserve the right to both remove content as per our discretion see more and NOT to remove it, too... We may as well remove any content that discredits BoonEx in any way. Even if the author feels that they are giving their honest opinion and that critique is justified."

It sounds to me that what is being said is that giving praise to Boonex here is fine, but if you are critical of Boonex it may be deleted, or maybe it won't be. That means you can be profuse with you praise of Boonex, but you are critical of Boonex or Dolphin you will have to be very careful. I'm not sure if it has been noticed by Boonex, but it has certainly been noticed by your members. The forums are far less useful and dynamic then they used to be- if you start killing posts, or even threating to do so, it does have the potential to further degrade the forums.

It could still work, however, with active staff involvement helping with technical issues. It seems to me, the best way for this community to handle this is to just basically comply with what Boonex seems to want here, and not post anything critical here at all, so that this forum will only have posts praising Boonex. Instead, we should find forums where we can post our opinions without fear of them being deleted. I seem to remember we were asked to vote for them on iDate. I don't know if they have a forum, but that may be a place. There are other public forums for social networking technology where members could post their opinions without fear of being censored - and more people will see them there anyway.

You're right - praising BoonEx is fine (naturally). And complaining may be fine, and may be not fine. Depends on what's in the complain. Take your own comment - it's not exactly a praise, but it's still a very valid post, since you're suggesting a specific area to be improved, don't try to sound dramatic, etc. I disagree with you, but I won't censor such post, because it makes sense. I hope to prove you wrong one day, though, and show how BoonEx Forum can still remain a great place to communicate, see more without drama queens.
