I can't begin to tell you how horrible arvixe service and customer service is. I just spent 2 months trying my best to make it work and finally gave up. And after seeing how my site runs on a different host???? If I'd known that much of the quirkiness of Dolphin was coming from them ... I would have given up much earlier.

I could go into excrutiating detail about how they suck, but let me just hit the highlights:

* When my site hit 5 members, I started running into issues. FIVE.
* repeated see more site outages (starting at 5 min several times a day and ranging all the way up to outages of 36 hours) with clashing answers from various people as to 'why' and no solutions offered
* horrible nightmarish site transfer w/i their own system from shared to VPS - total incompetence (I was surprised a month later, when the transfer from arvixe to hostgator went so smoothly. I'd half assumed that it was just the process of transferring a dolphin site that made it such a nightmare, but no. It turns out the nightmare was all arvixe)
* lies about server setup, after saying they'd updated the server settings to dolphin's requirements and suggested optimized settings I found at least 5 settings that weren't
* and when caught in the lies the standard answer is "the person who told you that is new and doesn't understand Dolphin." Everyone there must be new!!
* horrible customer service response times (for ex. )over a week to get a response to RMS inquiry of "what are my RMS settings?" They had to bump the ticket up to mgmt to find those. Idiots.
* and just an overall sense of incompetence - they're livehelp is especially incompetent.
Blah, I could go on for days about it, but basically they suck. You've been warned!!
