As it stands now, there is no way to finely tune the acls for certain things like emails. There is no way of stopping standard members from being able to open up email from other members, You can set it so they can't reply but it would be great to be able to make it so that they can see an email in the inbox but have to upgrade to open it.

It also confuses upgraded members because they send a member an email not knowing that they are standard and cannot reply so think they are being ignored making see more the site feel less successful.


For a script that offers different levels of membership and a payment system , you would expect it to be able to offer you full control of who can do what. Will this be fixed in a later D7 upgrade, will we have to wait till D8 or is it something that you are not even aware of?
