The most important questions are:

- have you finally decided to use a standard framework (Laravel, Phalcon, Symfony, Zend....)
If you use a professional framework with developer certification, this will lift the level of your product. More professional developers would contribute or write modules and also more companies would decide to use your product in favour of an own development

- are you using dependency injection?

- did you finally kick-out MySQL? MySQL is outdated for a community see more website in 2014 - you MUST use a scalable NoSQL solution such as MongoDB or Cassandra

- do you have a good CDN integration that uses configurable Cache-Control headers?

- did you finally cleanup the code and removed mixing of HTML and PHP code? Your code used to be too design / layout dependent - completely different layouts were not possible without become an own solution that is not compatible with future updates anymore...
