It'd be great if someone could integrate this http://jmar.github.io/jquery-hoverZoom/ into Dolphin software.

Personally I don't like things zooming at me unless I want them; better to give the use the control. You might hover over an image that you really don't want to zoom up and that can be annoying to the users. By clicking to zoom, they have control over which images they want to zoom. You could try posting a job and I might take it.
