Stay away from Arvixe . I am trying to get rid of them since September 30th . Moved my website to another provider already but still cant close my account on Arvixe . They are just scammers . I just want to show you a few emails i received from Arvixe recently .

Once you give me this confirmation, all data on the account will be lost, so please be sure to backup any data you'd like to keep before replying.

If you want to keep your domain name, it will require a payment of $9.95, because we purchase domains from a third-party, and they are registered on a yearly basis. Thank your for understanding.

We usually charge a transfer fee. We waive it when you use the domain as your free domain. Once the transfer is done we add an additional year to your domain names renewal date. That additional year is what you would be paying for.

After a few emails i sent the reply at Oct 12 :

Hello,


I apologize this was my error. I see that you did actually start the service in January. I thought we just recently added this year to it. If you cancel the hosting we can leave the domain name active with no fee. Did you want to go ahead with this now?

Then I asked if i need to pay them for anything to make clear . The reply at Oct 13 :
