sadly i hate it when things are secret, it means we have no input and therefore anything new you bring out has had only a few minds mulling over the idea, where you have a vast amount of webmasters that can really give you some valuable input into what your aiming for.
i myself have been a webmaster for 6 years, and own 41 domians.
I hate secrecy too. And we'll make sure to start open discussions as soon as possible.
The problem is that, at this point, a few things are still uncertain... AND we need some competitive advantage (read - time).
In fact, we do use your input a lot, and for the first time we decided to address the core issues raised to date: upgrading, speed, conventions, extensions installation, templating, etc. It's 2008 now, and we need 2009+ solutions to be ahead.
