Dolphin 6.1 development, support, fixing and improvement will go on. You can safely assume that 6.1 will be around for about a year from now. With due fixes and improvements.
We are not dropping Dolphin 6.
Just look at Extensions at Expertzzz and Unity and you'd immediately realize why Dolphin 6 should stay around no matter what. And while we're talking - Dolphin team is working on see more
I am dissapointed but I do have HOPE because of good people like you.
An honest comparison of the Dolphin, Orca, and Ray features blows MySpace and YouTube out of the water. The potential is there and it's just a matter time for Andre and his crew to bring it all together.
