Here is how I got mine to work, and it works great now...
it works every time for me. I guess what got me was the Name of the server. I tried local host, by my hosting has a name for it so I used that and make sure that override thing was filled out too then it all started working .

Thank you for the code edit. It works but only after I submit the url then the image pops up. I refresh and refresh and no image.
Also as you go down your list of sites, at least on my site, and you click the next arrows at the bottom all I get is a lonely thumbnail at the top right corner of my page. I have to go back to load that sites page again and click view all at the bottom then everything works. Is there a fix for that. or is it just me. the thumbnail it loads is the next thumbnail and nothing else. | ArnMan | 18 Apr 2012 |

I have tried on Firefox, the IE that comes with Windows 7 and another browser and on the join page if you click on the birthday field to expand to the calender, it works. On IE 8 When you select the month, year and date, it reloads back to the home page. It doesnt matter if you fill in any other fields or just go straight to the birthday field, it reloads the home page.
The other browsers work fine. Just IE 8 doesnt work. even on compatability mode.
Any sort of a fix for this? | ArnMan | 12 Apr 2012 |

ok i just found out that the birthdate profile field does the same thing during Edit profile too..
Only on IE8, you click the field, it opens up the calender you select the month, the year, and when you click on the day, it loads up the homepage. Not saving the date change.
Im just going to remove the birthdate profile field from the join page, until I can figure out why it doesnt work with Internet Explorer 8 | ArnMan | 13 Apr 2012 |

Nevermind, I went to a totally different computer that hasnt loaded up the site before that had IE 8 installed, and it works fine. There must be something on this computer that is causing it to reload the homepage | ArnMan | 13 Apr 2012 |

Im not really running a custom template sort of. I just took UNI make a copy, gave it a different name, and just changed images, and icons, really.
I work on my site on 2 different computers, but when I am work, like right now I can test it on different computers because they all have different browsers. Apparently the computer I use on at work, has something wrong with the way IE8 interacts with that birthdate thing. The other computer here at work, with IE8 works fine. | ArnMan | 13 Apr 2012 |

I have some predefined values that I have setup, and I was wondering if there was a way to get the LKey of the value in the predefined list to show up infront of NickName on the front page?
Let's say I have a field called Rank,
and lets say it has two values
value LKey
rankprivate Private
rankgeneral General
The user selects Private in Profile Edit. Is there a way to get the nickname to say Private John instead of John?
I can make a function in profiles.inc.php to get rankprivate to show up just not the LKey. | ArnMan | 19 Apr 2012 |

I was able to figured this out with the help of AntonLV
$sValue = $aProfile['Rank']; <--- or whatever field name you have
$sNick = _t($GLOBALS['aPreValues']['Rank'][$sValue]['LKey'])." ".getFirstName($iId); | ArnMan | 20 Apr 2012 |
