Hello,
after upgrade from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3, I have this problem:
If I am a guest or member (friend or not) I see all photos grey. But, if I am the administrator, i see all photos. All photos were visible before the upgrade. Are public photos and approved photos.
Please, see the attachments.

Hi Bullhorn,
did you find a solution? I'm going crazy. I'm trying deleting all cache, checkin logs... unistalling and installing again.
Why the admin user goes fine, and other not?
|
in db sys_albums -->AllowAlbumView --> Default should be 3 if it's not set to 3 change it and see if it works |
No solution yet,
I dont even see my photos in admin, they are grayed out there as well
|
Well if my previous suggestion did not fix it then your going to need to dig into the apache web server error logs. You will be looking for errors specifically for access denied or error reading.
Could be a number of things, and i am betting it has to do with permissions somewhere or possibly ownership problems.
Check permissions on the folder modules/boonex/photos/data/files which must be writable
Ownership can only be checked with a shell account. The unix command ls -l will show the files and who owns them
All photos in modules/boonex/photos/data/files with the exception of the .htaccess file are supposed to be owned by the apache web server which is either user apache or nobody depending on the OS. Those files must also be readable and writable by the owner and readable by all others.
The .htaccess file in that folder is to be owned by the cpanel or ftp account ID and must be readable by all.
You could also try removing the .htaccess file from that folder to see if the problem goes away. But i am sure it's some kind a permission or ownership issue and finding the problem may require access to the webservers error logs.

Error log shows.... [31-Oct-2010 16:34:38] PHP Fatal error: Class 'HTMLPurifier_Filter_Vimeo' not found in /site.com/web/content/inc/utils.inc.php on line 575
|
Ah. So it IS still a problem with the HTMLPurifier just not quite the same as the other topic.
Missing file.
Next step, re-upload the purifer plugin folder.
If your running dolphin 7.0.3 then make sure you use the FULL zip file for 7.0.3. Not the update. You need to make sure all the files are there.
Re Upload plugins\htmlpurifier from the zip file to the server.
