Can I upgrade from 7.0 --> 7.0.2

Can one upgrade directly from 7.0 to 7.0.2 or should I upgrade 7.0 --> 7.0.1 --> 7.0.2? Only professional help please?

And if I have to do one upgrade at a time, do I only reconfigure everything at the very end .. e.g change modules etc?

The instructions for 7.0.1 to 7.0.2 says you must be at 7.0.1 in order to go to 7.0.2

So I would think you need to go in order.  My opinion though.  Either way, always make a backup first!

7.0.0 to 7.0.1

7.0.1 to 7.0.2

You should upgrade from 7 to 7.0.1 to 7.0.2..

After you upgrade from 7 to 7.0.1, you should make sure everything works the way you want it to (modules, and other stuff).

Then upgrade 7.0.1 to 7.0.2.

You should do full backups of your database and files before each upgrade. Third party modules may cause issued during the upgrade process....

Happiness is a warm gun.

guys thanks for your replies. I have been reading through the upgrade process, the part that flags up with me is that part where one has to make sure that all the files are overwritten properly. I am using ssh ... what should the command be to change the permission to writeable and then back again?

The permissions your files and folders are in now should be set to where the upgrade files and folders will over write them just fine.
