"Username's Folder"

Dear all,

I tried to do a search but I couldn't find anything, mainly because I didn't know what to look for.

But I think I found a bug, just want to know what you guys think and if you guys have the same problem.

Recently quite a few users send me an e-mail saying that they lost a lot of files / videos and photos etc after changing their nickname.

After some research I found out that if you change your user name the system automatically creates a new "Username's Folder" but it keeps your old folder (let's call it "OldUsername's Folder"). The system however uses the new folder to fetch and retrieve data.

My question, is it possible for the system instead of creating a new folder, renaming the old one? This would solve the problem.

Thanks in advanced,

Ruud

This i think is only to do with user flexibility feature in dolphin.  Since i feel if you rename the folder that means you are infact  deleting the old user name and if somebody is searching the old username or the admin wants to ban or do something it would be tough to find.

I hope i am right in this.
