Subject: Invite a Friend

Hello,

I surfed the web and found a cool site: http://www.getglobalexposure.com/mycommunity/?idFriend=1
I thought it might be interesting to you.

Your mail server is blocking "gmail" addresses.

Your "From" email address should be belong to the same domain from which your emails are sent.  If it isn't, many free email services will block it as spam because that is the way most spam emails are formatted and sent.

Yes thank you for that as I tested that and it worked......The only problem with that is when someone else tries to send an invite it is not going to work as they will use their e-mail......Am I right? Or do I need a defaulted send email with getglobalexposure?

Yes.. other people will likely have the exact same problem.  I don't use the built in inviter, I use a third party script which uses a generic send email address.. invite@mydomain.com

To eliminate this problem, you'd have to change the script so that it uses a default email address from your own domain, and not let users enter their own address.  Of course, the recipient won't be able to directly reply to the invite, but that's better than them not receiving it at all.
