I have a couple of questions about registrations and affiliates...
First, I would like for my standard members to be able to "earn" upgraded "Gold" membership status by inviting their friends. I keep seeing "earn commissions" and I don't want to do payouts in currency but rather upgraded memberships. Is this possible and how would one go about setting it up?
Second, will affiliates work properly without making the site "by invitation only"? In that I mean run the affiliates, but also allow open registrations for people who just stumble upon the site.
