Backslashes Showing up in the Profile Text Fields

I am getting backslashes in the Description and Interest fields

for example if a member puts quotes "hello"

it is showing up like \"hello\"

I tried with magic quotes on and off no fix...

has this bug been repaired?

Ask from you hosting provider that they make disabled magic quotes option in your dolphin

Disabled magic quotes backslash still occurs in text fields

please advise
