Best Video integration

What video integration tricks have you found work best with Dolphin?

Obviously there is youtube that can be embeded, takes the load off the dolphin script which seems to really struggle with video integration.

Also makes light on bandwidth as uses youtubes embed.

Only thing with this is YT is blocked in many parts of the world, event sites carrying YT embeds...

I found Vimeo offer a paid account which means you can then embed their player and use your own logo etc... makes your site look nicer and the vids play most places.

Only thing is, you're not supposed to use this 'service' on a site that makes money... (which we all aim to do!)

Not managed to find a unity mod so far that 'fixes' this, they either use YT or Dolphins own video player which sucks.

Anyone found a fix for this?

Sounds like you want something more custom. It's not a highly requested module. You could use the same idea as this module: http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Country_Locator_on_Forms then based on the user data have them use a specific player. The best open source project out there now is http://www.kaltura.org/ just like here you can easily find the best coders there to build you something sweet. Video is hot and guess what its pretty easy to find what you need for free, but it's a huge learning curve. Best to spend a few bucks and get a guy who does it all day /everyday to show you the ropes.
I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com

Thanks will check it out :-)

Guess Im just looking for a decent video service on Dolphin. Rest of the script does what I want it to and very well.

For me, video is its achilles heal, it seems clunky and slow with video.
