Why would members who are blocked and banned show up in the membership list?
They have to be deleted..
No one see this as a problem?

That is a issue for me as well. If you delete them then their IP is unblocked and they come back. So you would have to block IP from Cpanel. You possess an intuitive intelligence so powerful it can help you heal, and relieve stress. |
Banning a member does not remove them from the database or members list. Simply because as a Site Administrator, you have the option to "Unban" them if you do so desire. Meaning.. If someone has done something that you do not like, you can ban them for 24 hours (or how ever long). Then when/if you think they should come back, you can Unban them without them losing everything. If you want to Ban someone completely, you would need to ban the IP address as suggested by LW or by using the IP Blacklist System in the ADmin Panel. Only problem with that, is it does not tell you WHO the IP belongs to :) Nothing to see here |
