I just released v2.0.0 of the BotStopper and people are highly recommended to use the latest version.

Unfortuntely this is a fresh install requiring you to uninstall the orignal module and install this new module. Always make a backup before modifying your site and keep a list of the banned words/sentences.

For those who have v2.0.0 installed, I have an updated version available for download. It once again is a full install (although an update is possible) and I recommend everyone to install this patch, to stop false positives from happening. If you have questions, or need help with the installation/upgrade, please PM me.

Since the BotStopper has had a lot of new functionality introduced since version 1.0.0 and the price just a fraction is of any other tool comparable to it in the market, I have decided to increase the price to $25 on the day v2.1.0 will be released. People who already bought the BotStopper will of course still receive free updates.

As newton27 already demonstrated with an early release of the new BotStopper in a video, the coming version will have a real email validation check and some further code improvements. I'm currently testing this on my own live website and expect to release it in about a weeks time from now.

I'm trying to install. Got the error: "Cannot install module from "denre/botstop/" directory Failed"

What is wrong please.

It seems you installed the module somewhere else than in /modules/denre

It doesn't say to create the "denre" directory in the readme file. I'll try again. Thanks!
