Calender date system. confusing my visitors...

Hello everyone, I have been trying to find a way to chan ge the calender date system, my visitors come to my site and list public and oprivate events and the date system is meesing them up. Is ther a way to disable the calender and just let my visitors typr in the info? Because first of all we dont read military time and the day and dates are backwards and my visitors are not very smart. I figured it out on the first try but some of my guests can barely turn on there own pcs so I need to eliminate the calendar from tha dates, lol. Anyways, Thanks guys, James
