Can a dolphin installation be independent networks

Can a dolphin installation be set up to have independent social networks separated by sub domain names?  Where each sub domain is exclusive for those members of the sub domain.

Members abc on abc.community.com

Members dfg on dfg.community.com

Members hij on hij.community.com

Where only members from the sub domain see the items in the sub domain they belong to.

It would be quicker, easier and safer to set up three sites, each accessible through a sub-domain. All sites could use a common (not shared) design, but have a separate database.

You might can accomplish this by using the Profile Type Splitter and Membership splitter modules in the Market.

You would set up abc, dfg, hij profile types and then with the membership splitter set up the membership that each can have.  Then you can use the PAC (page access control) module to control what pages, menus etc each profile type can see with the particular membership level.

If each subdomain is truly a separate site, then just install three separate Dolphin.  Of course you will need a license for each subdomain if you want to remove the Boonex bug.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
