Cannot use back button on browser in Forums

This cropped up on three of my installations. When in forums and you select a post, the back button on the browser quits working.

It has happened starting at 7.0, and the 7.01 and 7.02 upgrades had no affect on it.

And it is random... Sometimes it may work, sometimes it may not.

Cleared cache and tmp, that does nothing.

It happens on IE8, Opera, FF, and Crome exactly the same.

I thought it may be a template issue, but only one of the three installs has templates added, the other two use *uni*

I have deleted and re-installed the forum module more than once. The issue comes back.

Any suggestions where to look would be appreciated.

It's called AJAX.  Nice... isn't it?

Nope it's called 'I do not know what I am doing'.

It has less to do with Ajax and more to do with the inability of the softies who wrote the code
