Changing default membership

Dear fellows, I am keen to know if it is possible to change the default membership type. I don't want to have free memberships on my site, and it doesn't seem to be possible to add pricing to the 3 standard levels. It would be great if the "Standard", "non-member" and "Promotion" could be removed, so only own membership levels were present. Is it possible? I am on version 7.0.4 All the best Finn
