Changing page element display

Hi,

I'm using Dolphin for a chamber of commerce web site, and I need to allow full business names to display in place of the member ID. I realize that spaces and special characters are not allowed in the Member ID, so I was wondering if it's possible to display a different form element (I created a field called 'Business Name') in place of the Member ID on profile pages.

I'm thinking it would be just a matter of changing code in the space where member ID is displayed, but I'm not sure as to which files should be edited. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

That's great! I figured there was a way to change it, but didn't know where to look - there's so much information here, it's easy to get lost.

Thanks so much!

I need to do a similar mod on the Profile page - to display the custom field 'Business_Name' rather than the member's nickname.

Which documents should be edited to get this done? Thanks again for the help.
