Changing year of birth

Anyone know why it won't let you change the year of birth on a profile?  It won't let the member do it, and I can't do it as Admin either.  It reverts back to the original date before you can hit the save button.  Appreciate any help you can give please.

Strange enough, it will not let you change the year unless you change/confirm the day and month also!

Try that, it will work.
