Chat Linking Help

Hi guys,

I have installed that chat module and when I click on Admin it shows the chat works fine.  The question I have is how do I link it to my site? I don't know what url to use etc?

Thanks Laughing

When you go into Admin Panel > Tools > Modules, do you see Avatar and Chat listed under the Installed Modules?

I have sorted the chat, thanks

However the Avatar has caused a different problem.  I clicked the tick box on the Avatar section as it wasn't installed, it then told me to make the following files writable. (777)

public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/image

public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/tmp           (i think it was)

I then tried again and it now says database query error, I've tried a few times since and it says the same thing Undecided The funny thing is it is showing the Avatar in the module section now and as an extention.  I then tried messenger and received the same error message?

Any ideas guys, am I doing something wrong here?

Can someone please help me on msn or something, I am really struggling with the modules.

I have done the chat one ok but all the others are a nightmare. Anyone kind enough?

GregStarz,

It sounds like maybe some steps were missed during your install, like permissions. If your site has not launched yet (which I hope it hasn't), I would start fresh with a new install and database. Take your time and make sure you read all instructions.

You shouldnt be getting permission errors when installing modules. You can use these references below to help guide you:
