Custom Template Help

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for Dolphin 7 custom template tutorial, or would someone be willing to post the steps for me please?  I am a newbie website owner, and I am interested in learning as I go.  Thank you! 

Did you see our template tutorial in wiki ?

I did see one wiki for custom tutorial, but I did not understand it.  I could use a step-by-step tutorial to guide me through the process.  Like the exact location of the files I need.  And maybe a walk through on a simple design.  The basics I guess. Thanks!

I never took the time to read that toot until today but, basically it just explains how the template system works. It doesn't walk you through an example template.

The best advice I can give is to make a copy of the default uni template and using whatever browser-based developer tool you like (Firefox/Firebug; Opera/Dragonfly; Chromium/Developer Tools), mess around.

As Magnussoft stated, I think that's what most people do including my self.

Another thing you could do is download a free template or buy one you like and compare files with the tmpl_uni to see what they did.
