Facebook connect error: Incorrect Email

Hello. This is a fresh install of Dolphin 7.3.3 and facebook connect. I have never been able to create an account with FB Connect and the error is below "Incorrect Email". I even deleted the app on FB developers and created a new App ID following the directions on the FB Connect module.

Below is the screen of error and the join form.

It maybe that user don't allow to pass email to your site, when email isn't passed account can't be created.

Hello AlexT, I was wondering if you have found a solution to this issue. I was actually able to login using facebook connect, however I sent an invitaion to my wife and when she clicked on the link in invitation body I assume she mistyped her email in Facebook connect login. So she got an INVORRECT EMAIL error message. Now everytime she clicks on the Facebook Connect button  trying to re-enter her email address she gets the same INCORRECT EMAIL message. So I was wondering if there is a way to somehow erase the previously entered  email address and re-enter it.

Thanx in advance!

Regards,

hiorti

To add to my previous post, I'm guessing that this may be related to clearing the cache and cookies, unless it is coded into the Facebook Connect. Either way, for general users, who don't know anything about coding (like my wife) and accidentally miss-typed their email address, they won't be able to login with their FB account anymore and they will be forced to create a new account or leave...

I would much apprecite if someone can help me with this or give me an idea.

Thanx in advance.

Regards,

hiorti

If you user didn't allow to pass email to Dolphin, then account can't be created, since email is necessary. If Facebook remembered your decision and not asking for permissions, then you can reset it by going to Facebook > Settings > Apps > find your site in the list and click (x)
