Failed to clean cache when using XCache

When using XCache on my system and I try to clear the cache from the Admin side, I get a "failed to clean cache" error.  Has anyone experienced this before?

I suppose that the problem is in old version of XCache

Please try to upgrade to the latest XCache 1.3.1

Alternatively refer to Memcache clear cache procedure it helps to clear the cache when it is not supported by cache engine:

I've already got the latest version of XCache installed.  I think I'll just switch to memcached.

Then it seems that it is bug in XCache 1.3.1, when this cache engine was tested on Dolphin - everything was working fine (I think it was 1.3.0 version). You can try to get svn snapshot of dev version, it looks like it is fixed in svn already:
